AFA Langley Chapter
Airpower Symposium and Salute to Team Langley
The annual Langley AFA Chapter Airpower Symposium was held virtually via Zoom on December 11, 2020. General Mark Kelly, Air Combat Command commander, was our primary speaker. His remarks were followed by presentations from Maj Gen Case Cunningham, ACC A5/8/9, and Maj Gen Mark Slocum, ACC A3. Both of these presentations were in an interview format moderated by General Frank Gorenc (USAF, Ret). Also included in the Zoom event was an original video highlighting the dedicated Airman that make up Team Langley. Our Airpower Symposium is the Langley AFA Chapter's primary annual fundraising event. Proceeds enable us to provide Langley Airmen with quarterly/annual awards and banquets, grants and scholarships as well as supporting local STEM education opportunities such as Cyber Patriot programs and our annual Teachers of the Year awards. The support of our many sponsors make this happen ... our sincere thanks go out to all of the companies and individuals who contributed to our efforts.
